MIOA

I have been MIOA (Missing In Online Action) for two days now. The Hurricane (I just call them “The Hurricane” now since I lose track of their names) came and again my power was out for two days. What's scary is that the world continued on without me.

Comments were being written. Spam was being tactically placed. Emails were being sent and I had no options to interact with any of them.

Now I don't mind being without power for a short while since I can go read a book and or write, but it seems when no one else knows that you are incapable of getting stuff done the world falls apart for some people. I need to create a Hurricane program that alerts all commentors and emailers to the fact that I am incapable of performing my online duties due to the lack of electricity. Then these fanatical emails wouldn't be taking place.

Anyways, the power comes back on at 5 am and of course instead of just rolling over and going back to sleep I get my ass right up and start to work. I didn't miss much, but some people had heart attacks here and there which hopefully I dealt with rationally ;-).

Of course the Vault Inbox is overflooded. Not too much spam. I lost in Fantasy Football...again. Anything else? Nope. The world keeps on moving even when you are standing still.
