I didn't want to write this Note because of how pissed it makes me. In the English Premier League Arsenal is my team and Thierry Henry is their soul. He was their main man and was supposed to help get them back on track after not winning the league title the last 2 years. There was always speculation that he would leave for Barcelona, but he always denied it.
Sadly, now it has become a fact. The transfer fee was for a reported $32 million and he will be teamed up with Messi, Ronaldinho and Eto'o making them one of the clear favorites for the Champions League title next year.
What happens with Arsenal now? Well they are getting Reyes back and hopefully they use the money to go on a shopping spree. I can't take Man U or Chelsea winning another title.

I wouldn't be too sure about Reyes going back!!! Talk here in Spain is that he really doesn't like London and after hois two goals in the last game of the season a number of Spanish teams are interested in him.
All went wrong for you guys wehen you moved the Emirate stadium, and then Dean left the board. Wenger will go next!!!!

I'm not sure Ronaldinho is going to stay at Barcelona. There is news from Italy that they are trying to get a hold of him.
There's still lots of time for transfers to go through and there is certainly going to be big changes within the last 2 weeks...

I'm not so sure Reyes will be back, although Real don't want to keep him, he is keen to stay in Spain. As for Barcelona, they do look formidable, but will Eto'o still be there come the start of the season? I'm not to sure about that. Also with regards to Wenger, I'm not sure how long he will be there, but I hope he stays and I guess you have to trust his judgement. He sold Veira at the right time, maybe he sold Henry at the right time.

He sold Viera because he had Fabregas waiting in the wings. There is no Heny successor waiting around and Reyes will come back for at least the beginning of the season I believe.

I know no one will ever replace Henry, but I honestly think that Van Persie and the like will step up this year. Arsenal weren't as reliant on Henry last season as they were the year before. It's a big loss and someone who can't ever be replaced but it's not as bad as it seems at first.

Reyes signed a 4-year deal with Real Sociedad, or another team in La Liga. Ronaldhino, from what I've read and heard, is looking elsewhere. Lljunberg retired as well, due to Henry leaving.
I'm a big Gunner's fan as well. They play very attractive football and should have done better in the Premiership. Arsene is a good coach and losing Henry hurts, badly. They do have spending money, so it'll be interesting to see what they do during the summer transfer window while it's still open.
Did you guys/gals hear about John Terry's new contract? The highest paid footballer in the world! $138+ euro's per week! Insane. Abromovich has deep pockets, which makes it hard for other teams to keep pace with Chelsea.

@Scrivs- Sorry looks as though another Man U title is going to happen.
