From the Clip Why You Should Download Firefox 3 Right Now posted by Scrivs:
The open-source web browser is the fastest and most secure version of Firefox yet. Significant improvements have been made to the way it uses your computer’s resources, so the memory leaks and other performance problems found in Firefox 2 have been stamped out. Text and image rendering have also been improved, and the underlying code for Gecko, the engine that draws the actual web pages on the screen, has been updated. There are also heaps of useful features that have been added for both power users and newcomers alike.
So are you going to download it today? I'm trying to and the page isn't loading at all, but I think it would be cool if they reach the record for most downloads in a 24 hr period. Although I'm sure Blizzard could claim that anytime they release a new patch or update for WoW.

I will download it if I can get the page to load. It keeps timing out on me. I'm curious to see if the pledges and actual downloads are close to each other. I don't think they will be because everyone seems to be trying to download at the same time, which is why it keeps timing out and not loading.

Downloaded on my computer here and my computer at the lab. So that works perfectly. Then again, I've been using it since RC1 and loving it anyway.
