After reading the NY Times. Guess what they found?

The existence of Pikachu.

Now all they have to do is find the island where all the Pokemon's live and that's the end of civilisation itself.

Now that comes the question "egg first? or chicken first?"...

Haha. Like they say, Truth is stranger than Fiction...

The Twilight Zone themesong keeps playing in my head when I look at that thing.

Stay Back! Stay Back! Don't look into its eyes!

Do you have the article to go with this?

It's linked right there on top.

It only links to the image, which doesn't seem to reference the article title it belongs to — only the book "The Deep: The Extraordinary Creatures of the Abyss” by Claire Nouvian, from which the image originated.

No big deal though :) The website of the book has some more awesome seacreatures.

@Kamigoroshi: Is that the whole text going with the picture? Or did I miss the article?

From “The Deep: The Extraordinary Creatures of the Abyss” by Claire Nouvian

Submarines Dumbo octopus from the Monterey Bay’s floor.

I couldn't resist.

That's odd. I linked it to the article at the NY times, not the picture.

Here is the proper link to the article

Thanks, I love the aesthetics of deep sea creatures. Odd that the NYTimes don't include a link back to the article from the image.

The "Caulophryne jordani Fanfin seadevil" in the article is awesome, and I'd really like a USB hub that looks like "Marrus Orthocanna".

That seriously looks like a finger sticking out if its mouth.. fake?
