Looks like someone has been playing 007. A few spy photos of the Tiguan are popping up across the ‘Net.
The new Tiguan is Volkswagen’s answer to the compact SUV market, smaller than the Touareg but larger than the Rabbit (Golf). It’s planned to be released as a 2008 or 2009 model, and will be built on a hybrid combination of the Rabbit (Golf) and Passat platforms.

I dunno, I’m hoping that body covering is REALLY deceptive. It’s looking like a Rav4 to me right now. But I’ll reserve judgement.
Looks like they’re sharing parts with the A3.
