Web Site: Bad Assembly

It’s one of the most often overlooked features to any company portfolio site, but great typography can make or break any web page. And with something like Flash web sites, you typically don’t see great examples of the art… so we were pleasantly surprised to come across Bad Assembly. Their portfolio site combines a terrific multicolored palette with amazing flowing type that animates subtly throughout. The work is amazing too, with a portfolio chock full of projects from such big names as Toyota, HP, Coca-Cola, and Pixar. The site compliments the portfolio amazingly well and doesn’t overpower the core essence of their site: to display their work. For a lesson in simplistic beauty, take a look.
