James Bond: Quantum of Solace

I watched Quantum of Solace with my friends. If you like action movie, you will like this one too. The cars chasing, bullets shooting, building exploring… You won’t want to blink your eyes and missed the scenes.
The story? I don’t quite understand it until I read the synopsis after I was home. This is normal for me. I rarely understand 007 story line by watching the movies. 
IMDB has summarized Quantum of Solace story in a sentence “Seeking revenge for the death of his love, secret agent James Bond sets out to stop an environmentalist from taking control of a country’s water supply.”
For the technology in the movie, none has surprised me. However, I like the “touchscreen table” (looks like Microsoft Surface) and the interactive glass when Bond is calling “M”.
I like the cute car (Ford Ka) drove by Camille (Olga Kurylenko), the bond girl. The phone is Sony Ericsson with fancy phone source tracking and GPS. By the way, Bond uses no gadget this time.

watched it too. but also couldn’t und much about the confusing story, i think it is too fast-paced, i prefer the previous one

You have to watch “Casino Royale” first otherwise you would not know anything about Vesper (Bond only love?) who had betrayed him and didn’t allow Bond to save her from drowning.
Camille is not one of the beautiful (faces & bodies) Bond girls but her back has something interesting. Count how many times her back appears on the screen and being mentioned.
If you want to know why a philanthropist (loved by everybody) drank a can of lubrication oil in the middle of a vast Bolivian desert above a huge reservoir of precious water, go a watch Quantum of Solace. Not recommenced for those love Alfa Romeo cars.

I will buy DVD of Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace and enjoy them at home instead of going to cinema as many of bloggers were commenting it is not easy to understand the story at one go.

I agree with InfoHQ.us, it maybe difficult to understant if we don’t watch the Casino Royal. I had watch the Casino Royal almost 4 times, 1 at cinema, 3 times at home.
This afternoon we’ll buy the Quantum of Solace for Friday show, since it difficult to get the ticket online at Golden Screen Cinema.
Can’t wait to see the action….and the Bond’s girl….;-)

Now I know why Quantum of Solace was deliberately made lousy because:

my suggestion, watch at home if possible :), doesn’t worth the pop corn, and the ending is really, anti-orgasmic.

haha, me too, i dont really quite understand the storyline initially, until i went back and IMDBed it that i understand the heck thats goin on..
i used to read the review for any”complex” movie that i m goin to watch
but arghh..i just missd this one..
u like the car chasing part inthe opening? haa, i love aston martin but i doubt it can survive those bullet shots…
