Apple Will Unlock Hong Kong iPhone 3G

Apple is now selling unlocked iPhones in Hong Kong where these phones can be used on any GSM carrier and also not tied to any specific carrier. The unlocked iPhone will sell for $695 USD for the 8GB model and $795 USD for 16GB model.
