Now they're harassing Bristol Palin
There is apparently no limit to how low the Democrats and their Liberal media friends will sink when it comes to discrediting Sarah Palin. Gawker Media, a lefty liberal blog, in conjuction with a group of left-wing computer hackers, broke into Sarah Palin's private Yahoo email account. They snarfed her address book, stealing the private email addresses of her children, close friends, and confidants.

They also located the private cell phone number for her daughter, Bristol Palin, and published her number. Gawker Media felt it necessary to call Bristol Palin at this number to "verify its accuracy". Words alone cannot express how utterly reprehensible their irresponsbile actions were.

Then they attempted to cover their butts by reporting that they didn't find anything interesting!

I read though the emails... ALL OF THEM... before I posted, and what I concluded was anticlimactic, there was nothing there, nothing incriminating, nothing that would derail her campaign as I had hoped, all I saw was personal stuff, some clerical stuff from when she was governor... And pictures of her family.

As if this lame, self-serving, "what's the big deal" excuse will absolve them of any responsibility for invading the Palin's privacy. Meanwhile the brain trust at the Huffington Post (another liberal blog site) decried the breakin, not because it invaded Sarah Palin's privacy, but because they felt it would give her cover to delete "potentially incriminating information". If this is what passes for rational thought on the left, I'm very glad I'm a conservative.

When George Bush and Alberto Gonzales talked about the need to snoop on emails sent by suspected terrorists the liberals erupted in a berserk frenzy of apoplexy, fulminating against potential privacy abuses and whining about freedom of speech. But when it comes to discrediting Republican candidates for national office, liberals suddenly decide that no dirty trick is off limits. The private email conversations between a mother and her 17 year old daughter are fair game, fodder for the left wing media attack machine.

The real problem is, they don't see the hypocrisy. And that's what is truly disgusting.
