Do you want to be "the first to know" Barack Obama's VP selection? Just
reply to a
text message he's passing around.
Isn't that cute? "Barack" is sending text messages to all his adoring fans and asking them to text him back. And he wonders why some people compare him to A-list celebs like Paris and Britney (Is it because they're known by their first names too? -- Ed). Their whole existence is chronicled via text messages exchanged by overwrought tweens, teens, and twentysomethings. Now "Barack" is targeting the same demographic.
I guess the implication is that press conferences are so last century, only
an old guy like McCain would consider announcing his VP selection at one.
Forget the 3 AM phone call, Barack Obama is ready for the 3 AM text message!
