I was so excited about this when I first heard about it in the spring, but since then I have seen exactly 0 fireflies :-(

They've been out in our yard for a few weeks, but not in any good numbers yet.

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to do this with my kids in our backyard (we've been seeing quite a few for the last few weeks).
