And now, for the list to surpass all lists. The productivity guide you’ve been waiting for your entire life. The only resource you’ll ever need.
Well, it might not be all that but I hope this list of my best productivity articles will be of some use to you. :)
I’ve gathered together some of my best posts on productivity, ZTD and GTD, to help guide you if you’re having trouble getting work done. I hope this list will be a handy resource, and that you’ll bookmark it for future reading.
A bit of Zen Habits history for those of you who are new to this blog: ZH started as a productivity/GTD blog, but very quickly expanded beyond that scope to include simplicity, organization, happiness, family, finance, health and fitness articles, among others.

I have been using GTD very intensively for last one year and I’m still learning and fine tuning it as I move along. I absolutely like the fact that GTD is a framework that can be tweaked to suit my need. I have completed several projects in the last one year that are meaningful for me with the help of GTD.
As suggested by the sub-title of GTD, it has definitely helped me to have a stress-free productivity. I still have a long way to attain the “mind like water” state mentioned by David Allen.
Thanks for compiling all the productivity post at one place.

All you seem to do is lists anymore. Quick lists may be good for getting linked on Lifehacker, but not for building a raving fanbase; or keeping your feed in my reader.

HAH!
Funny thing is, I have a similar list for all my bookmarks!
However mine is far more cluttered with about 40 bookmarks.

This would make a wonderful list for me to bookmark. Will definitely check in on them!

But if I read all of those articles, I’ll never have time to get anything done!
Only kidding - that’s a really useful list to have - thanks!

I created my own little 60 second guide to getting things done. It’s based on David Allen’s GTD steps, but modified to meet my needs:
http://www.marcandangel.com/2008/06/16/how-to-get-things-done-in-1-minute/
Leo, you are a machine with all these GTD articles. I’m gonna have to get reading when I have some more time. ;-)

Thanks for the list, just one thing and it may just be me.. but that photo of “donnie darko’s” foot in my face is really bothering me for some reason, just puts me off from reading the article. I’m copy and pasting the text into a word doc.. Is that weird? lol

Massive list, thanks for that.
I like how you say that writing it down doesn’t mean it will get done. This is so true, so often we will write down goals or a to do list and never get it done.
I believe that being productive is the key to being successful (and wealthy)
I wrote a post on my financial blog about how to not waste time http://www.foolswealth.com/2008/stop-wasting-time/
I hope it helps

Mr. Fuji, it’s not weird. My daughter hates feet, so it would put her off, too.
Leo, great list. Thank you for compiling all of your great articles in one place like this. Of course, this means now I won’t have any excuses if I don’t get things done. :/

I’m a huge Mac fanatic these days. Things from Culture Code has changed the way I organize projects. I’ve read a good portion of the sources you mentioned above and it’s a great list to keep handy. Thanks Leo!

This is a terrific compilation. I’ve always been amazed at the ZenHabit posts that can list “8″ things or “10 things” in a single post. I would have to make eight or ten separate posts and string it out for two weeks. Your ability to continue to generate so much new material…well, it just “amazes” me.

David Allen’s GTD principles are marvelous! I have tailored his ideas to meet my needs. The key is to have some kind of system to track your tasks and stay organized. These articles are a great place to find ways to improve.
Thanks for collecting so many useful articles into one place!

Common guys… the last think you need to really get things done is to read 30 more articles about how to get things done.
Just close this window and get back to work, now.
Yes, is that simple :-)

Your articles are really great, but at some point the volume seems ironic to me. I mean, how much can you read about getting things done before you just have to start getting things done? :)

Some good points, here is some things I find important about reaching the desired goal,
When you can see that God is there, everywhere. It makes it alot easier to rely upon his help, to ask for it. To know that he will come through for you. God sees and knows all. It can become as clear, as you know that your own father would do everything in his power to save your life. You will come to see that God is right there with you and will not fail you. You should know that a basic privilege that everyone has is a right to be successful. No matter who they are, where they find themselves, and to where they have fallen. They just must find the right thing to do from deep inside their heart, and go for it. But don’t come to think that just because God will help you it will be easy to accomplish your desires. You will still need to take up whatever idea it is that you want God to work with you upon and make this your life. Think upon it, dream of it, live on your idea. Know that this is the way to success, and this is the way that has produced people with great accomplishments. If what you desire to accomplish is for your good God then will help you succeed. Each person has gone through a certain amount of a “wild goose chase” trying to reach for things that are not theirs to take. If something seems to be lacking, this is from God, and there are reasons for it. When you find yourself accomplishing your desired goal this will bring you to real trust in God. Then nothing can take it away. What ever your doing if God is with you you will succeed. God always wins. You just need to push forward. Dont give up and quit prematurely and then you will succeed in accomplishing your goal. You want help from on high. Ask God for help. It begins by recognizing His Presence. In earlyer generations there was no doubt. There were many revealed miracles and prophets. In general, the later generations are run from a policy of concealment. Even if this whole world is created in a way which the Divine Presence, and knowledge of the existence of God is miraculously concealed. Miracles happen for people who know of both worlds. If you have doubts, you need more knowledge. Don’t misconstrue God’s ability with you. Don’t create obstacles between you and the truth. What ever you assume responsibility for you will be awarded power to deal with it. One person can even save the world, it has happened many times. To succeed you need to be strong, fortified, and triumphant in all the places that it is necessary to fight. Even if you have help from on high. Nothing good comes easy. Just do your part and He will put the finishing touches on it, customize it, and take it all upstairs to complete the job. What ever it may be. Every single second the entire order of the worlds is changing. They rotate, orbit, and move in totally new paths, never known from genesis. They create fresh combinations, interactions, and interrelationships find what you have to do and go for it now. There is no time like now. There is no room in success for procrastination.

Great lists. GTD is the best system that I have ever come across to date. I am still using it and loving the results. My only complaint is that now I get frustrated when working in group situations with people that just don’t “get it” yet!
Thanks for the list.
