Summary:
It turns out there are two factions in the LDF; there is Commander Inamine’s good guys faction which believes in letting people read scanlations through the use of SMGs, and there is the administrative faction (which is somehow related to the LFPG) which believes in filling out boring forms and standing in long lines. The administrative faction wants to make Iku look bad in the investigation so that Inamine’s image will suffer. It is strongly hinted that Atsushi experienced something similar in the past, and he is a pillar of strength for Iku during the ordeal.
In truth, the real plan is to make Hikaru’s friends suffer so that he will feel guilty and join Satoshi’s LFPG. However, Atsushi will not let Satoshi succumb to bro-con, and decides to put his faith in Iku. Iku does great in standing up to Satoshi and in a touching scene, Atsushi swoops in to rescue Iku at the critical moment. Iku’s life is able to go back to normal until she receives a letter from Satoshi that implies that Iku’s Prince Charming was Atsushi all along. Then we get a nice scene where Asako sorta dumps Asahina-san and helps Hikaru deal with his bro-con problem (by selling Satoshi’s watch for some booze money).
Reaction:
I really enjoyed this episode, although I have to admit that I felt the schemes were kinda half-baked. I can only imagine what Satoshi’s next plan is; will he try to get some demanding high-maintenance LFPG hottie to seduce Hikaru? BTW, in addition to all the awesome Iku x Atsushi moments, there were some great Asako moments. When Asako told Hikaru that she would even sleep with the enemy to fulfill her mission, I suddenly realized why ronery guys end up becoming toadies for evil masterminds.
Naturally the Iku x Atsushi scenes have to be mentioned as well, especially when he rescued her from that slimy Satoshi. It was such a tender moment, but the part where Atushi couldn’t reach Iku’s head to pat her (because she was wearing heels) was comedic gold. I suspect that the reason Atsushi is so short is because he eats too much unhealthy food. Did you see that humongous ramen container he was gonna devour?

Hehe, good thing I was laughing too much at the KasaDojo antics to notice Tezuka Sr’s half-baked plans. XD
I swear though, Satoshi gives me Itachi Uchiha vibes. :P
It was so sad how the Ramen was left opened, and unloved at the end. Atsushi never got a chance to even put water in and share a huge bowl of love-ramen with Iku.
The only problem I have with Iku x Atsushi is how Iku has become Atsushi Junior. They are so similar! In fact, the whole thing eerily reminds me of the Seinfeld Episode where Jerry started dating a girl who was exactly like him.

With Iku becoming Doujou Jr, she’s hitting two of her dreams with one stone, to get closer to her prince, and become like him too (then have a mix of the grown-up Doujou as well)! I’m just glad their personalities complement each other now
Loved the first ep but lost interest with 2 and 3. Probably should pick it up again.

Tom Cruise is considered a midget and he’s no shorter than 172 cm. I don’t know what they eat at Scientology though. Puppies? I never ate ramen but lots of fresh salad and I barely surpassed him. I guess Jason Alexander must have eaten lots of ramen.
