Wii Fit Reviewed

The Wii Fit comes with a balance board shaped like a household body scale with a white top and grey bottom. The balance board contains pressures sensors used to control the virtual movements. Also, the sensors are used to measure the user’s center of mass and body mass index.
IGN (80/100): But even with these issues, Wii Fit is a really innovative non-game that not only features a robust list of exercise programs and games, but creates an environment in which working out is less daunting and as a result enjoyable — fun, even
1UP (83/100): I guess I’d hoped an exercise videogame would make fitness a lot more fun — and easier to do. And, though it doesn’t quite exceed those expectations, Wii Fit will get you moving — especially if you’re looking for a gentle, fun introduction to an exercise program.
EuroGamer (80/100): It’s produced a superbly made peripheral and a piece of software that offers both entertainment and a sense of achievement. It’s all very slick and lifestyle, with plenty of white everywhere, but there are the bold shapes, bright colours and moments of sheer charm you’d expect from Nintendo.
Gamespot (70/100): Wii Fit will help you work up a sweat, but it’s not as smooth and fun a workout as you’d probably like.
