Not-so-lazy Sunday

Yesterday we packed a lunch and our roller-blades and headed towards Granby for an afternoon ride during which we saw muskrats, ducks and wild turtles. It is raining today and very gloomy outside so I am particularly grateful that we took the time to go out and take in some fresh springtime air.

Blading in the middle of nowhere on a road that appears to leads to eternity. Now that’s living it. How I wish I could do that once again.

@ Edrei: We actually made it to roughly the 6th kilometer (or 3.7282271534240037 miles) of the path and came back. No rush to get anywhere or cumulate any amount of distance, just plain old fun in the sun. I thought my calves would be killing me today but they are not (surprisingly). I guess that means I am ready for a couple more kilometers next time. Can you imagine a group of 9rulers getting together for a day like that, now how cool would that be?

Oh I can imagine that. The kind of carefree mood that would bring. That won’t be just fun. It’ll be beyond awesome. :)

Lovely shots, especially the middle one, looks like awesome fun :) wish I was there! Rollerblading is impossible here due to the inherent risk of death on the road but cycling is what we do here, but in 35+ degrees C its more of a workout than fun :P

Love it. Not sure I’d be able to make it to 6kms, but if it was with a couple of 9rulers, I’d be in! Good show.

Looks like a perfect day. :)

@ Azhar: Thank you, it really was. Cycling can be fun as well (if I had a bicycle I would certainly go for it) but I can see how it would be much more of a chore in 35+ weather.

@ Nils: Anything is possible in good company.

@ Courtney: Been having quite a lot of those for the past few months.
