At the wheel of his Intrepid-TM kart, Brandon Maïsano staged an impressive performance in KF3. After winning all his heats in the third round of the WSK at Lonato, the Intrepid France pilot easily won the pre-final and then the final, thus strengthening his leadership position in the Championship. In KF1, two more top 10s rewarded the efforts made by Intrepid pilots.

- Hawksworth denied victory by jumped start - Jack led the KZ2 field home by several seconds, but was placed seventh after he was given a ten second penalty for a jumped start. He says he thought the delay on the lights was longer than it actually was so went too soon, and knew he was going to get the penalty. Tony Lavanant (FR, Energy/TM) won after holding off Joffrey Demanse (FR, PCR/TM) for half the race.
- Tomas Pivoda switches to Formula Master - The Czech driver, who hasn't done as well as he might have hoped so far in KF1, will now be racing in Formula Master this year with AR Motorsport.
- National Council meeting at the FIK - The Italian Kart Federation will meet this Saturday, where there will be a confidence vote on the future of president Giuseppe Nole.
