  1. I’m confused. When I bought my new Jetta a few months ago, the salesguy told me that the Passat had gone up a few tiers, and the new Jetta was essentially the old Passat. This article is now saying that the Jetta’s going down a tier, and the Passat is doing the same. Does VW not have a market research department or something?

You hit it exactly Jordan. Who knows if VW has a market research dept. You’d think by the decisions being made that they don’t. Either that or it comprised of chimps. Take your pick. lol
