I started using Disqus back in December on Marketing.fm for comments and thought it was great. One thing I did notice however was that my comment post activity went down and getting notifications was tough.
I am happy to report today that I found a feature that I should have turned on awhile ago under Disqus>Dashboard>Access & Moderators allowing anonymous comments! This means that you no longer have to make an account with Disqus! Even though it takes 3 seconds as they claim - this was a major deterrent for my readers, as I actually got a few emails. The only thing that is missing now is email notification like what is built into Wordpress to notify me of new comments and pending comments that need approval.
I hope that because a few readers took the time to write in about their troubles that this solution makes commenting easier at Marketing.fm. I know that comments provide great feedback, counterpoints, and of course motivation to continue blogging!
