Sony’s Blu-Ray Breakthrough

Warner Bros’s has made the decision to back Sony’s Blu-ray next generation DVD format exclusively due to poor DVD sales. Warner’s move is a setback for Toshiba’s HD DVD format.

Microsoft with their support for HD DVD for the XBox 360would consider a Blu-ray player add-on for the Xbox 360, should consumers show interest in such a product.
