Update: I’ll link to the posts that talk about the memories behind the songs. I’ve only written one…yesterday.

- Guster - Demons (4:26 | 196kpbs (VBR))
- Howie Day - Collide (4:09 | 320kpbs)

Josh Anastasia » The meanings have changed, but the memories remain the same
[...] I’ve been thinking a lot about my past mixtapes recently. I haven’t posted all of the mixtapes that I’ve made, but that’s starting to change as of late because mixtapes are becoming a bigger part of my life. Looking through my archives, I realized that I never finished writing all the memories that were associated with the first mixtape that I posted. [...]

yay! i love mixtapes
and of course one day, i’d like to hear the memories that go with these.
(and omg, just had a brilliant idea, but if i tell you you’ll want to do it, and then you’ll complain that you have too much to do)
I love mixtapes too
That’s why I put it together. Maybe I’ll write up a post about the memories that these are attached to. Not now though.
hey i only had half of those. that’s amazing. Wait, why aren’t any of those songs about me? After all, we’ve been friends for 120 years.
I will listen to it while I finish up my paper.
I’ll post a comment here tomorrow.
Hearing the memories would be a nice idea.
@Amanda: 120 years is a long time! And at least one song is connected to you.
@cooper: thanks!
Well, since people keep asking for them…I guess I’ll post my memories about them. I’ll do a separate post for each of them and make sure to link them to the songs.
which one? or do i have to wait until your separate blog?
also, its weird when you call me amanda
@Mandy, it is weird when I call you Amanda. And…I’ll think about telling you before I post about it.
OOO. Just listened to the whole thing. I love it! We share a lot in our taste of music. My favorite was Imogen Heap. I’ll have to look into getting that album.
Imogen Heap is awesome. They don’t play that enough over here, on radio and what not.
well, I’m totally going to buy that album. I’m listening to it on repeat right now. It touches my soul.
Yea, it’s an amazing song and the whole album is pretty great too. You know, Frou Frou and Imogen Heap are basically the same person, well Frou Frou just has a band in Imogen Heap. You should check out Frou Frou if you haven’t already.
Hey there,
I just learned about your site via 9rules. It is one of the most interesting things I have read in a long, long time. Thank you.
Hehe, when I first started reading I thought you were a really nice “could be gay” guy. And then I was like, “Wait… transgender promotion? He must be a girl inside.” And then I read some more and I figured out the real thing.

p.s. the mixtape is great!
Hey Alisa,
Thanks for stopping by
I’m a straight man trapped in a woman’s body
At least, that’s what I like to say. It makes things so much more easier than just saying “hey, I’m trans!”
Glad you enjoyed the mixtape.
