Technosailor Self Importance Test
I just took the Technosailor Self Importance Test and came up as Matt Mullenweg. Not that the test questions were really all that scientific or anything, but I do believe the results to reflect more accurately upon me than had I come up as Jason Calacanis or Robert Scoble, who happen to be two of the other available results.
Jason reminds me of another megalomaniac I had the pleasure of “working” with on deviantART, who believes that his self-worth outweighs just about anything else in life; that he is the center of the universe and everything revolves around him. Scoble merely strikes me as a lost little puppy dog who is looking for attention and will do whatever it takes to get that attention. He will help an old lady bring her groceries in to her house and then turn right around and steal the diamond neckless sitting on the lady’s kitchen table. All that matters are headlines and links.
The only other result that I am aware of, other than the aforementioned, is Chris Pirillo. I would not have been “upset” having been told I was Chris because it is not necessarily an incorrect assessment. However, based on the result write-ups I find Matt’s to be a far more accurate evaluation of my persona. Chris, in my experience, is a really good guy who means well. The same can be said for Matt, at least in my direct experiences and observations.
The Technosailor Self Importance Test is a fun, quick, easy and mildly entertaining. Who did you come up as?

I’m “Darren Rowse”, whoever the fuck he is.
Also! I’d be supremely insulted if I were compared to Matt Mullenweg. Though, as a regular wank reader, I suppose it comes with the territory.
I’m Matt as well, which is fine by me. :-)
I came up as Chris Pirillo and I know why. It was that one question, do you own the .COM of your name - Well, I tried for years to get the .com/.net/.org of my name and I finally succeeded. It says we both understand the branding and marketing of “self.” No where near a scientific study, but it was interesting. I enjoyed my interaction with Chris while working on deviantART stuff - we had the chance to communicate quite a few times.
Actually, I’m evil.
I came up as Darren Rowse, and his description fits quite well who I am, which was quite nice…but I still have no idea who Darren is.
