The iPod Touch is the latest addition to the iPod family. It looks identical to the iPhone in design and functions similiarly but does not have a cell phone. The only drawback at this point is the fact that it is only available in 8GB and 16GB models.

I imagine that the battery life would be unacceptable if it used a hard disk. Apple are certainly moving in the direction of high density flash though. I expect rev 2 of the iPod touch will be in 16 and 24 or 32 gigabytes.
It looks as if appearance is becoming a coordinating factor, almost like dressing twins the same.
Apparently there has been an uproar due to the fact that the iPhone price dropped $200, and Steve Jobs has “iPologized”, according to the news. Apple is now giving a $100 credit to early iPhone buyers.
