Jiggler is a little freeware app designed to keep your Mac awake. When Jiggler is running it will simulate mouse movement so that your computer will not go in to sleep mode. Useful when burning CD’s or other tasks that can not be interupted by sleep mode.

How neat…too bad I don’t own a Mac. :)
I’ve been lusting after a Mac for a while now, but it strikes me as kinda lame that this sort of app is even needed. You’d think the user experience gurus at Apple would have some way of checking whether or not a task is in progress before putting the computer to sleep.
