Lavinia notices Sara getting along better with everyone, but hasn’t been able to make any progress in wooing the rising star pilot. Lavinia tries numerous plans, but is foiled each time. When EMLY needs a cleaning, Lottie gets there first and offers Jessie’s services (apparently Jessie is highly skilled at washing other girls). When Sara triggers the crystal pin, bumbling Becky beats Lavinia to the punch. And when Lavinia tries to simply force herself on Sara, she ends up stealing a kiss from a very receptive Jessie; to make matters worse, as Lavinia runs out she ends up showing off the goods to the entire station. The staff is pretty much like WTFMENTALFATIGUE and lets everyone have a break.
Lavinia’s final plan is to hide EMLY and then “find” her for Sara. Unfortunately, EMLY has a very heavy head and falls off the shelf and into a trash cart. Over on the Deague side, while Ralph and Captain Medlock get it on, Emily steals Ralph’s coat (the coat has been granted a Level E ID) and takes a shuttle to the nearby station. No doubt everyone will soon meet up on a date in the landfill.
This was a pretty silly episode with little development. While amusing, I couldn’t help but be slightly annoyed at Lavinia for being a sucky pilot and a sucky seductress (aside from the effort made on Jessie). The message in this episode was that space makes you horny.
Other oddities include Sara’s disdain of a sports bra on the treadmill. While titillating, I would think it would be rather painful. I was also surprised that Ralph’s coat was granted clearance, and not Ralph himself. Speaking of clothes, notice that Emily changed her outfit and implemented some .htaccess protection to prevent EMLY from hotlinking the new dress.

Nobody likes episode 7. It was nothing but fanservice. Well, the next few are really good, anyway.

Just goes to show you, different strokes for different folks.
I thought her efforts were both clumsy moe and hilarious. She in some ways reminded me of the idiot schemes that would go through my head (never acted upon) when I was a teen, and fancied myself a bit of a player.
The puzzlement, then discouragemant and then resignation she displayed when she discovered it was Jessie, not Sara, that she had fondled, cracked me up. Her plot to be Emly’s savior and Sara’s succorer gave us an interesting segway to the meeting of the real Emily.
The main attribute this episode gave us though, was a brief lightheated respite from the emo-laden main plot. It was a chance to get to know the characters when not at work or facing conflict.
Plus Lavinia look pretty fine in her birthday suit.

Hmm… pretty much everyone I know liked it.
I could see maybe if your a girl (my apologies if you are a girl), an un-traditional male, or you watch your anime with your Mom, not liking it; but if your a normal guy (who the show is primarily aimed at) this episode was the cherry on the sundae.
LaviniaxSara FTW.
She’d make a great lamp, in my opinion.
Ok….i have not seen the stuff but i already love the pics, >.<
