Desktop Friday: The Eighth
Photography January 13th, 2007Each and every Friday I post a desktop wallpaper for all the Mac and PC users out there. The image is taken using my Canon 350D DSLR. Photography really interests me and this gives me a nice way to showcase some work, while giving readers something for nothing.
The wallpaper is sized at a resoultion of 2560×1600 pixels, big enough to be used on a 30 inch Apple Cinema Display, so no-one will miss out. No watermark has been applied to the image either, so play nice, I’m trust worthy that no one will steal my work.
Today’s desktop caption is: Foreground Fence

Feel free to leave any comments about this wallpaper below, it’d be nice to get a comment or two from people who decide to use it, have a great weekend, and enjoy!
Download it here.

Haha, I just saw that on your flickr page earlier this afternoon and commented that it would be a great desktop background.

It looks great. =D Is the fence in front of the grass or behind?

Thanks Dim! The fence is behind the grass.

The fences is obviously behind the grass lol!
Where I read fence in your RSS feed, I was thinking “Oh, no. It’s always fences and grass with Glenn!” - but this picture is very nicely done and not what I expected.
V.Nice Glenn!

Shreedhan, the reason I asked was because I have a similiar picture like this, but with people, and it looks like the fence is behind them, when it really wasn’t. =/

Hey Glenn!
Great picture!
You should create a “Desktops” page where every week it will post a little thumbnail of your desktop then you can click on it to download. It would be really cool.

Glenn, how about a wallpaper for folks with 2 monitors ? I have 2x 1680×1050, I’d love to get a panoramic wallpaper :)
