It is hard to stay away from re-discussing all the CES news that has come out this week as most of the blogs end up becoming echo chambers. One area that definitely grabbed my attention was the 1TB Vudu player.

It just makes sense.

We are only a few short years away from no boxes whatsoever, but before we get there mega storage boxes like this from Vudu will be the norm. Sure there are many options available that may provide different solutions - but sometimes convenience wins out. You may be able to build a cheaper Linux based set top box - but how many of us can really do this? Not many.
