The online shopping portal for Vans shoes allows visitors to customize their shoes. I recently discovered this function while researching our interview with Doug Palladini, VP of Marketing for Vans. I had so much fun with the site that I ended up ordering a customized pair of Vans.

I think all brands should leverage technology to improve custom interaction. Whether it’s sales or product information discovery online, the customer experience should be captivating and cool. Chipotle.com does this very well too - have you ever designed a burrito online? If not, try it - I guarantee you will love it.
