I recently signed up and have been testing out Slideshare.net a new service that allows you to upload and distribute slideshows that you have built in PowerPoint or open office docs. (.ppt, .pps, or .odp)
The service works very well and is basically like a youtube for presentations. I know that I have wanted to embed little image albums into some posts and this is a great way to do it. It successfully fulfils all the small laws of becoming a useful ubiquitous tool on the Internet:
1. its useful
2. its viral
3. its mobile
Here is an example I made:
Look out for more slideshare presentations on Marketing.fm as well as around the net. Its a great form factor for displaying information that someone can consume at their leisure.

Is it mobile? I’ve tried to look at it on a few phones, without much success.
Thanks for your kind words otherwise!

I guess I meant that you can take it with you and embed it anywhere. Today mobile also should include working on mobile phones for sure, but as for the limitations of other presentation software and the hassle in getting others to see the same thing your seeing, this is mobile in my book. I will update the post to clarify though:)
