Give Me Autumn

Give me autumn…it is my favorite season. Give me cooler days, trees that sparkle with vibrant leaves, from purple, red, orange, yellow, and all the colors in between. Give me the serenity I feel when looking at these trees, whether in my yard, the surrounding subdivisions, or while traveling through the countryside on rural, country roads.

Give me autumn beginnings in the photo above, as seen through the window, while a passenger in a car…give me life.

Give me autumn, give me serene moments, give me spiritual moments and feelings when looking at nature. Give me autumn in my front yard, like in the photo above, with my oak trees and elm trees, my burning bush hedges, the woods across the street…give me nature’s beauty, serenity, and give me moments of joy and life.

  1. Aww, I miss good autumns! Australia’s great, but the leaves just pretty much go brown and die. It’s not like our beautiful autumns. I’m sorry I’ll be missing it for a second year! :(

  3. Are those burning bush hedges in that photo? I wish I could see them more clearly.

    (I’d love to see Australia though)

  14. Amen to that. I like the photos you shared. My girlfriend and I went for a walk in the forest preserve in our neighborhood. Even though I twisted my ankle navigating some goofy terrain, it was worth it to see the bright oranges in full blaze. We took some photos, which I will probably be posting soon as well!

  16. Oh, I bet the forest preserve was nice to walk through. I’m sorry about the twisted ankle, and hope you feel okay. I bet it was beautiful, and can’t wait to see some photos. :)
