Amy has asked me to remind everyone that I’m part of Team Knitty for this year’s Run For The Cure, raising money for the fight against breast cancer. Over on the sidebar, under the links to my Knitty columns (which I finally updated to include the most recent one–yay!) you’ll find a button just like this:

Click it and you’ll be sent to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s donation page for me–where you can sponsor me for the run in October or just make a donation to help me and Team Knitty reach our respective fundraising goals. The money I raise will go to fund breast cancer research, education and awareness programs across the country.

This is a tremendously worthy cause–particularly as so many strides have been made in the fight against breast cancer, even in just the last few years. Yet so much more still needs to be done. Thanks in advance for your help, and I’ll keep you all posted as the day of the Run draws closer. No donation is too small–please give whatever you can. Only CDN $180 to go before I reach my goal!
