I know this is a knitting blog, but the recent events surrounding Lance Bass have moved me to such a state that I can’t resist posting this:
“Bruce Willis bought Aaron Carter $1 million worth of gifts, a recent lawsuit by the teen heartthrob against his mother revealed. Willis’ rep didn’t return The Scoop’s calls wanting to know what prompted Willis’ generous bouts of gift-giving.”
This was posted here in 2004 but was curiously under-reported in the media at the time. Maybe it’s time to revisit?

Another stupid person telling the world that he is attracted to men. Who cares!!!!! Why are we so curious as to whom people sleep with instead of what kind of people they are. I have never understood why people think they are special because they are gay - a condition they were born with like being bald, needing glasses, having diabetes. We should be asking questions such as: “What have you done to make the world a better place?”; “Can you knit a sock?”; What have you done for the poor woman on the corner who has no family nor money?”; “Do you try to get along with the people you work with?”.

Ew…wait…*how* old was Aaron Carter in 2004? 16? (I had to look it up, I could be wrong.) Bruce! Find a boy your own age! Or at least as old as Ashton…

Well, to come to Lance\’s defense just a little–he was more or less forced to come out as Perez Hilton was more or less outing him day by day.
I think we\’re always curious about people who are sleeping with and always have been (how else do you explain the ongoing interest in the otherwise tedious House of Windsor?). At the very least, we\’re curious about whether they\’ll sleep with us or someone like us…and, failing that, what kind of taste a person displays through their choice of partners. Personally, I\’m not so much interested in Lance being gay–for some of us it was a foregone conclusion–but I\’m amazed that he\’s with someone as hot as Reichen.
I can answer your questions on behalf of Lance though:
1) Contributing to the breakup of N\’Sync;
2) Probably not–he may have difficulty even putting on a sock;
3) Contribute to the breakup of N\’Sync;
4) See answers 1 and 3.
As for Aaron Carter and Bruce Willis at *any* age–EEEEEEWWW!

Looking at your name brought back such wonderful memories of a year I taught in Fort Frances, Ontario and had so many ….chucks in my class. I still have all the gorgeous Easter Eggs they game me and receipes for the cabbage rolls and other Ukranian dishes that I sampled. Still write to a few of them after thirty-five years. They make my heart feel good thinking of them.
