Some sad news from the knitblog world.

You Knit What?

If you haven’t heard already, it is my sad task to tell you that You Knit What? is ceasing publication. Knittykitty and Punk Rock Knitter have become overwhelmed by demands in their everyday lives and have made the difficult choice to wind down their blog. Theirs has long been one of my favourite sites, and was always good for some hysterical laughter. It will be greatly missed.

That said, they’re keeping the site up for the foreseeable future–so take a moment whenever your knitting is getting you down and go get some cheap laughs at the expense of some of our top (and not so top) knitting designers!

Gotta love Josephine and her Amazing Technicolor Nightmare Coat! Perhaps a craft project at a camp for children who are blind? and tasteless? I enjoyed these girls’ take on life and knitting. they will be missed.

That is terribly sad. And yet explains why I haven’t seen it in my feed reader for awhile. We can only hope they pass the batton, and You Knit What continues on. Because I really need to know that the stuff I’m doing isn’t as ugly as some of the stuff out there.
