The luxury of being self-employed.

I hate you guys every Friday morning when I drag myself out of bed at six and slouch to work through pouring rain.

With this globalized, internationalized and flexibility-ized (?) economy, I guess the weekend is whenever you want it to be.

But yeah, Thursday is the evening for (reasonably quiet) drinks, for making plans for the 'real' weekend and for beginning not to care what happens on Friday - even if technically it still is a 'working' day ;-)

Easy answer.

If you punch any type of clock on Friday, the weekend does NOT begin on Thursday.

But I'm with Nap...that doesn't mean it's necessarily a productive punch day. :)

For some weird reason I tend to party more on Sundays then on Thursdays....:)

For me, I would say yes. Technically, yes I have to work on Fridays. In the week up til Thursday night, I try to go to bed at a decent hour. Thursday nights I don't really care because of how chill and carefree Friday's usually are.

It definitely is in college. Business students here don't have class on Friday so CU checks out Thursday afternoon.

I don't like doing the same thing all the time so I mix it up. I'll make Tues-Thurs be my weekend sometimes.

Thursday is totally the weekend. But then again... when I'm only working full time, every day is the weekend.

I'm with Tyme. I mix it up. It all depends on workload though. And I've done my share of Thursday night outings. :-)

I have Fridays off from work, so... YES! Thursday is the start of the weekend.
