I have no idea what final solution they used (or if they used one at all). I'll see if I can find out what happened with it.

I remember those... Daniel would always claim that he was going to make a podcast and record everything, but you'd never see a podcast. This dude must have wire taps of like 1000 skype conversations.
several months
Haha, interesting timing. I'm actually gonna bring in my framed Kindergarten Diploma to work this morning so I can hang it near my desk. Other than Nursery School, it's the only diploma I own (I didn't bother getting my high school diploma and I didn't go to college).
Unoriginal thought from Chris: Looks very nice, but I bet it would look nicer if it were less crowded. The whole 9rules team is stepping it up, though - I'm really digging it.
I don't know if it's necessary, but it's a definite help. And almost impossible for some people to be good at both.
But I know a lot of designers who do really great web work for huge clients who don't know how to program anything (even HTML/CSS).
It's pretty good. Many of the things I spend my time doing are things I would do if I weren't getting paid - so to get a nice paycheck from it is real nice.
The people/environment are pretty neat, too. That plays a big part.
^ I know people who hate rap that act the exact same way.
And not all Brits are asses.
Most of the people I work with are older than me and it really hasn't been an issue. I just get made fun of when I say, "Oh yeah, that song was a real big hit when I was in junior high."
Jay-Z (and others) have done plenty of stuff like that in the past, too.
I rarely get voice/ops. But then again, I rarely say anything in there anyway.
=D
The Sopranos rarely ever gave the type of closure you find in most movies/television/books/etc. But for some reason, everyone was expecting one now.
I liked it.
I remember Kanye performing the song acapella a very long time ago at a poetry reading and it wasn't too bad.
Good stuff - even though Scrivs was clownin' me and my non-chrome chain for 90% of the time.
Haha, how nice of them to block out the whole homepage. Happy birthday! Time for a house party.
Thanks for all the points given to me for my response in this note. [rattles tip jar.]
Kiss in the rain.
This is quite expensive. I couldn't get rain in San Jose, CA these days without a rain machine or by catching a flight to another part of the world.
Slow dance to romantic music.
Stereos is expensive.
Go to a movie, ignore the movie, and make out like teen-agers.
MOVIES AIN'T CHEAP! Your date better be able to outline each beat of the movie's story and catch all continuity errors for $10.
Recreate your partner’s favorite romantic movie scene.
What if your partner's favorite movie scene is the highway chase in Bad Boys 2? You need Hollywood budget for that, man.
Burn a CD with love songs.
I know you're not suggesting some illegal activities, man. Plus my cheapskate computer doesn't have a burner. Now I gotta upgrade my shit?!
chris - yep, but there are some cool moments out of each genreations that would make other generations go, "Ohhh!"
I agree. But big-picture-wise, I think it's been about the same level.
I doubt the majority of high school kids in any generation were more super-creative than any other generation of high school kids.
I lose and gain weight sporadically and rapidly like I'm preparing for different movie roles.
For once I'd like to see Microsoft release something and not have the discussing degenerate into a bunch of Mac jackoffs giving pithy one-liners and showing off their trademarked iSnob attitude.
That said, Surface is awesome.
I'd like to see some notes where people aren't yelling at punk kids and violently shaking their fist, but I deal with it.
I'm sure they were working on it before the whole iPhone deal, but it's still funny to me that Apple is coming out with a touchscreen phone and Microsoft comes along with a touchscreen TABLE.
I like to split my time (the majority of it at home). Every now and then, I do want to drive to the office and get some work done and interact with others, but rush hour is not my ideal time for commuting to work.
banoodles
But I do agree that the three of us could do a better job with it.

"Worker Bot".
At my full-time gig I'm officially a "Front-End Web Developer".
For a 3-person operation, they're doing quite a bit. I wouldn't mind reading more blog entries from any of the staff, of course. But I'd like them to stay sane, too.
When I'm up, my friends don't have to worry if they're down. When my friends are up, I don't have to worry if I'm down.
It varies from $3.50 - $3.80 in the bay area of CA right now. I saw it near $4 on a trip to San Francisco last week.
Here's an older 9rules Note about business cards (mine are posted there):

Haha, people are gonna have to level up to out-do that.
I hope I don't turn out like anyone, but yes, I'd be content with simply not sharing any traits with either of my parents.
For some things, sure. But if I went to college, I'd still be in college.
Very nice, Mike. Should be awesome when you get your hands on the hard copy.
Not going to college means no educational institute cares about me.

Those Mr. Clean eraser things work well for my Macbook. I'd be open to other people's suggestions though.
