My personal fantasy is someone surgically wiring her jaw shut, so no one (right and left alike) is forced to suffer her diarrhea of the mouth again.

I'll tell you, commute should really factor into your decision. I once took a job with a long commute, which I thought would be outweighed by the learning experience. I was wrong, and commuting an hour to work each day was costing me about $3k a year in gas expenses alone (and I drive a pretty efficient car.) So in that regard it was almost like taking a pay cut as well.
Amy Sedaris.
I just completed my upgrade, and everything seems to be working properly, except my tags won't display. I assume this is because I'm using a modified loop. Anyone have any experience with this / have to hack an already modified loop to get them to work?
160gb iPhone please!
Wordpress turns this on by default, but I've been meaning to disable it. I don't think the people who participate on my site should be punished because of rogue spam. After all, isn't the burden of spam on my shoulders and not my readers?
I never experienced problems with Gravatar. I like when sites use it because it's easier for me to remember an icon and associate it with another commenter than their name.
None of the above. Whenever presidential talks come up it's obligatory I mention Kucinich's office is down the street from my house. While I support a lot of his ideas I think he's a total nutso, which is even more substantiating when you know all the local stories surrounding him.
Chocolate!
Ooh I never thought about adding mint, that's a great idea. I'll try it next time! I think that anise would also be a great addition.
Try nutella in ravioli (use wonton wrappers) sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Two Fat Ladies is an old favorite of mine also!
I'm also a very plain person. I like Reuben without the dressing. The sandwich I most often make for myself is bbq chicken slicces on Brownberry Oatnut bread with honey mustard. (The kind from the jar, not that squeeze crap.)
My ultimate comfort food is meatloaf with corn and mashed potatoes! I'm also partial to pot roasts as a comfort food.
I am also a Chanel Chance fan, but I feel this is more an evening fragrance so for daily wear I prefer Banana Republic Classic. It's a unisex scent, so it's not overtly floral. It's fairly light but fresh smelling.
Oh thanks for the lesson I had no idea anti-globalization was an anti-american interest and was sponsoring terrorism. I'll remember that the next time I don't get my coffee from Starbucks.
No I read it, and I think calling her actions exploitational are largely a matter of opinion. She's extreme yes, but at least she practices what she preaches. I'm not endorsing everything she does, but sometimes when people aren't listening you have to turn up the volume a little. I don't see how Chavez helped kill her son either.
Are greiving mothers wacko?
Ugh had to shell out to repair the washing machine earlier this year. I know it's necessary, but it always feels like I'm throwing money away.
Mint has the potential to be pretty cool, but unfortunately on a daily basis not a lot goes on there. I'm not sure if they don't have enough users or what. Also, the user base skews pretty young, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it's something to keep in mind depending on what kind of information you're looking for.
American Greetings offers a Talk Like a Pirate Day ecard :) (Disclosure, yes I'm shamefully promoting my employer, but hey who wouldn't want a Talk Like a Pirate Day card in their inbox?)
I'm going to get a lot of flack here, but I'll just come right out and say it, I hate Catcher in the Rye, and I think it's the worst, most pretentious piece of crap I've ever read. It's a shame because I have enjoyed Salinger's other work.
I also thought Everything is Illuminated was a big pile of look-at-me look-at-me garbage.
Whenever we created standalone pieces (when I still was with an agency) we just included the install on the disc :)
Firefox always craps out on my work pc, but runs just fine on my Mac at home. I had this problem even before I added a bunch of extensions, I don't know why it's such a hog.
I don't have a brand to recommend, but I bought a plastic one from either World Market or Williams Sonoma, and it's flimsy and difficult to clean. Make sure whatever you get is stainless steel and has some weight to it. But personally, I go for the smashing with the knife method.
I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with the Apple Tv in regards to this, because as of right now I don't see much reason in buying it other than an expensive wireless link between my iTunes library and television.
If you're planning on using the calendar at all, you should know you can't edit calendar events (or so I am told) directly from the iPod Touch, you have to do it from iCal and then sync. That would be a huge pain, I love being able to edit my calendar right on the iPhone.
I use Dreamweaver as basically a souped up notepad. If I don't feel like opening something bulky I use TextWrangler, though if you're in the market to buy something BBEdit is well worth the money. We used it all through school.
I think you can do this directly from Flash, if you already have that installed that might be an inexpensive option.
My two favorites are Nigella Bites and Barefoot Contessa. I like them both because they aren't traditional chefs (though I love those as well) so I think a lot of their food is elegant while still remaining down to earth, and is practical to make at home. And since Ina got her start as a caterer, most of her recipes are tried and true, especially the baked coodies.

No but work necessitates I be here. I wish more enterprise companies would support remote employees.
I don't love where I live but I don't hate it either, unfortunately everyone and their mom (including people who've never been here) seems to have a negative opinion of Cleveland. I don't think it's really fair to dump on the city if you've never lived in it.
