As a freelance writer, I didn't think I'd really need business cards. I do all my job application, work, and networking over the Internet. Turns out I was wrong. I can't explain how many times I've been asked for a card when I'm on a plane, on a bus, at a hotel, etc. and I've been asked what I do.
So I've decided that I need a business card, but I don't want just any business card. I want a cool one. One that epitomizes innovation, creativity, and cutting-edge ideals. I want the kind of business card that designers and web 2.0 companies might have. I also don't want to pay $100/100.
Suggestions?
(Oh, and it bears mentioning that I'm not a designer. I don't even have Photoshop. So I can't design my own and just send them to a printer!)

I've used print100.com before and they do some great work and it's pretty cheap. 300 for $30.
If that's not what you want, make your own. Simple is in so just get some of those pre-cut business card stock sheets at an office supply store and print some out. :)

You could use Moo Cards and use public domain or creative commons licensed images on them if you haven't got anything suitable yourself.

I came across PrintsMadeEasy in my search, and they seem pretty neat. Not very expensive, easy interface for non-designers, and not-your-typical card templates. I think I might use them.

I love the Moo cards as well. Nice little semi-oddsize format, thick and semi-mat. Lovely.

I second Josh's print100. I've heard people get great stuff from them. I've looked into it but realized I don't really need cards. ;)

I too would like to know what people use for their business card printing. I want to design it myself but have it printed.
I don't need too many, but want good quality.
How is print100?

I love that Print100 allows you to do unique tweaks (die-cutting, for example) for a reasonable price. I'll have to think about that!

ErinR:
I've used Print100 extensively over the last year. I had my own cards printed by them, and have since printed nearly a dozen sets for clients.
Really, I cannot recommend their services any more highly.
I wrote up a thorough account of my first experience with Print100 on my blog. Hope it helps!
