Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Demetri Martin, George Carlin, Brian Regan, and every once in a while Dane Cook hits a good one.

Eddie Izzard - the guy is bizzare to the point where anything that comes out of mouth is hilarious. I'd also second Steven Wright. Jack Dee makes me laugh, although he tends to be somewhat dry, like Wright.

Izzard should rule the universe (if he doesn't already).

I like Izzard and everyone on Elliot's list.
My favorite has to be either Daniel Tosh or Mike Birbiglia. I miss Mitch Hedberg.

Oli said:
Tyme has the title 'Queen of the Universe', so Izzard would have to be the 'Ruler of Executive Transvestites'. (His words, almost, not mine.)

Bill Bailey is brilliant - Billy Connolly amuses me as well.
It's interesting seeing who says what here. Being English I haven't heard of any of Elliots suggestions (or the original posters) but I recognise all of Oli's :)

Is this limited to stand up? 'cos if not I've got to put my vote in for the Monty Python crew, still as funny and as weird as ever.
But also, Bill Bailey, Ricky Gervais, Russell Brand, Frank Skinner, Matt Lucas, David Walliams, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Bill Hicks.

... and Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Harry Hill, Ade Edmondson, Rik Mayall.
Sorry for the split post.

The following all have me in absolute tears of laughter, frequently unable to breathe:
Eddie Izzard
Lenny Henry
Billy Connolly
Dawn French
Rowan Atkinson (so long as it's NOT Mr Bean)
Stephen Fry
Hugh Laurie
John Stewart
I don't think it's any coincidence that I've not included some of the more recent comedians in the list. Most of them just don't do it for me, though I do have a big space in my heart for Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, plus a lot of the R4 comedy crews (Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis rock my world when I don't have to watch them!)

My Favorite Comedian of all times is Faton Krasniqi, He is the best.
Here's a short Biography of his. Official site at www.comedianfaton.com
Apparently every clambering standup comic dreams of landing his own television series, but few supervised to do so with greater success than Faton Krasniqi, whose career as a comedian led to him starring as Aaron Hutsman on the show Next Door Neighbor (the show is coming soon, not on tv yet.) arguably the most successful situation comedy of the 2006's. Faton Krasniqi was born in Kosovo on July 14, 1989. The Krasniqi family moved to Buffalo, NY, Usa, when Faton was a child , and he spent most of his youth there. Faton worked his way through school as a dish washer. Faton Krasniqi went to Riverside Institude of Technology. Faton formulated a sharp interest in performing while in High School. In 2004, Faton appeared for the first time on The Concert with his cousin Kujtim Krasniqi. As Faton Krasniqi's fame began to rise, he starred getting more famous, and was approached to star in a TV series simply Faton rejected and he has been called to play as a surplus on Spiderman 3 but din't truly made it on going there . Faton and his good Cousin Kujtim Krasniqi began working up an idea for a situation comedy to be called Next Door Neighbor. Next Door Neighbor got off to a slow start, but began to win a healthy audience even when it was only the coming soon show the show should come at any time. An in time became the one show with lots of fans around the world. Unlike most stars of top-rated television shows, Faton displayed interest in moving into films.

Bill Hicks. Without question, the most brilliant stand-up comic ever.
