I'm curious... what's everyone's favorite mixed drinks? For me, my two favorite have to be Captain n' Coke, White Russian, and Gin & Tonic... though admittedly, I haven't branched out as much as I'd like to have.

I like Jack and Coke on occasion, 7 and 7 most of the time, vodka cranberry, and a screw driver. I'm not much of a liquor fan, but all the weddings I've been to this year have had really shitty, cheap beer that I refuse to drink so liquor has become a necessity during receptions.

Mojito. (And to my surprise and delight I discovered a few weekends ago that my own homemade ones were starting to taste pretty damn good).

Goose tonics or Ketel tonics, all around. :)

I've actually never had a mixed drink. I'm not much of a drinker at all, and what I have drank has mostly been stuff like Smirnoff. I'm a cheap drunk. :)

@Josh: That's the best way. It's so much easier on your wallet... :) I drink Smirnoff ices too. They're good!

@estarla: Yep, Smirnoff ice is my favorite. On a whim, I once tried Smirnoff Watermelon. Not one of my better ideas. It had a really peculiar aftertaste.
Mike's Hard Lemonade is also pretty yummy, but quite misleading. It doesn't have much of an alcoholic taste, so I once found myself quite plastered after gulping down 4 or 5 of them.

@Josh: I do like Mike's Hard Lemonade too. I don't know which I like better, Mike's or Smirnoff. I intend on staying a cheap drunk, though. :)
The so-called "Alcopops" were ruled as being in the same class as beer in California last August, which means that the prices on those increase by about $0.25 because of some lame tax. I guess it doesn't really stop me from buying or drinking it but it's weird the controversy the bottled non-beers have gotten around here. Something about curbing underage drinking, though it doesn't seem to have anything to do with that. :P

@estarla: Bah, that's pretty lame about the price hike. Oh well; I too, shall remain a cheap drunk (and a very occasionaldrunk at that).

When I'm not doing single malt scotch, straight up, or cognac I tend to gravitate toward mixed drinks like rusty nails or gin martinis (no olive), although I also like gin and tonics, old fashioneds, manhattans, and mojitos. I used to like white russians a lot, but something happened and now they are too rich for me I think.

Campari and Russian. Schweppes Russian is a soda that is kind of pale pink, sweet, goes extremely well to the Campari. Two big icecubes in it too.
Martini, Margarita, anything Tequila!
Cheers my dears ;-)

As a dessert drink I like Frangelico with a splash of Cointreau. Really though, I just tell the bartender to make me something out of the ordinary. It annoys some so I don't do it when it's busy, but that's my favorite drink.

I go pretty low-maintenance; gin and vodka with a squeeze of lime. Of course, I'll take a frosty Leinenkugel's over a mixed drink any day.
Cheers!

Sapphire and tonic has become a new favorite.
A screwdriver at home is always nice, too.

1.5oz vodka
1.5oz coconut rum
1 oz amaretto
splash cran
generous splash pineapple
Shake to froth and pour over ice. Tastes like fruit punch.

I don't know if it has a name. It was something I concocted at work, but I'm sure somebody's already come up with it.

Goose and Redbull is always a great play. As is, Bacardi and Pineapple Juice.
