The nothing-achino... I can't STAND Starbucks. I can MAKE myself a better cup of coffee on my own for MUCH less than I can by walking into that place.

It's pumpkin season again and I'm a fool for the pumpkin spice anything. Hot - cold - in scone or muffin form - bring it on!

The seasonal favourite: The pumpkin spice latte.
The all-time favourite: The caramel macchiato.
The all-time favourite that Starbucks killed off this year: The maple macchiato (RIP, fantastic maple macchiato...).

Chai anything.
I have to try the pumpkin spice latte, but I'm afraid I'll like it. A lot.

Please, please, visit your local independent coffee houses. So much better than any corporate chain. :=)

Starbucks!? No way. I cannot bring myself to order something from a company that tries to make people use Italian words in place of the perfectly servicable ones I already know and that have stood me in good stead my entire adult beverage-ordering life. I refer to these three: "small," "medium," and "large." For that reason alone, I'm with Cappuccino and RightOn -- if you can, go somewhere real (like home -- or an independent coffee place). And if you can't, as sometimes happens, I'd order a blended chai drink with a lot of whipped cream, because those are fun. But I'd ask for a large. You know, just to show them, shake them up, make them remember that large once STOOD FOR SOMETHING.

Ooh...I forgot about the gingerbread lattes -- those rule. Otherwise, I generally go Venti Nonfat Latte with Sugar-Free Vanilla or SF Hazelnut syrup.
