Dude, your G5 gets mad but I can run them on my iBook G3? wha?
Sorry to resurrect, I just saw this.
I don't know. I'm pretty sure it only has one processor, but I've never bothered to check the system profiler. I just keep too many projects going at once, more than likely.
The upgrade to the Web package is only $340. I saw only considering the the full retail of the some of its parts is like $4,000. If you have CS2 like me, it's worth the upgrade. That's the beauty of Adobe. Once you can make the initial investment, they are really good o you down the line. I was lucky and got my CS2 at a student rate of really cheap because I took a class.
Like I said in another post though, I don't know what version to get:
"Do I go with Web or Design? I'm a web designer, but also do side jobs that consist of nightclub promotions. I don't really use Fireworks, and who needs Contribute when you have DW, but Fireworks looks to have some really interesting interconnectivity now with PS AND DW. Yet, I want to be able to have the current InDesign. It'd be nice if they had a complete package without the video, for like $500 upgrade. I just don't know. What do you guys think? What are the pros/cons between the two that you've come up with?"

you can run PS, AI, and ID at the same time on a G3 and actually get work done? that's amazing.

Meh, I've got CS2 and love it to bits. Learning new methods of photographic post-processing all the time, as well as improving my design skills.
What great improveds come with CS3 that warrant my splashing out another briefcase full of cash?
