Hi everyone! Just got registered here and this is my first note, so bare with me .)
Recently i've read an article at CopyBlogger entitled "If Your Blog Disappeared,
Who Would Miss It?". So i'm asking all of you - who'd miss your blog IF you stopped blogging?

My family members and a few friends would miss my blog. And, that is the way I would want it to be. I don't blog for money or blog for hits to my blog.

Even thought I am not a member (yet/prays), if my blog were to disappear basically every 9rules member, reader and advertiser would weep openly for a period of three days.
Scrivs/Mike/Tyme would no doubt add some sort of memorial to the logo. It would be a sad period for all involved.

Unfortunately, probably not too many, but that's ok. I blog more for me than for others.

I think most people in the world. Provisions have already been made for a televised memorial should anything untoward occur.

I think there would be people who would miss me the first time they came by and I was gone - it would be fleeting, last a second or so, and then they would move on.

the only person i think would miss it is my girlfriend, because i actually met her via my blog. she commented a few times, we talked via IM, realized we lived just around the corner from each other, and here we are almost 2 years later still together. she still comments on my blog, i still comment on hers. so for that reason alone i try to keep my blog going.

Yeah, probably no one : (
Maybe someday someone will. I'm only a couple months in so I have room to grow.

Well this is a depressing note!
Yeah, like most things on my internet, if any one of them dies, the audience can quickly and easily find their fix somewhere else.
On that happy note, I'm off to make some toast in the bath.

Heh, I wonder who would miss any one blog, should it disappear. My blog, Copyblogger, Tech Crunch, any of 'em. I think blogs only have meaning when viewed in community (like 9rules) </suckup> Seriously though, I don't think anyone would miss any one blog for very long.

People would miss HeatEatReview, but they'd eventually find some other way to waste time at work. I don't think I could have said that in the past, but last spring when my life was full and I didn't post for a week (I have a MWF post schedule) I got emails and comments asking if I was still alive. That was kind of neat, people saying "You'd better have a good reason for not posting, something like death."

I 've read routinely two bloggers who subsequently died. The first time it really freaked me out and made me quite queasy. The family came on after a week or two and closed down the blog after writing short note thanking everyone and telling them how much the readers meant ot the blogger and thanks for the support and all that - I did miss the blog for a few weeks really but it does pass.

The world would stop rotating on its axis and everything would be plunged into eternal doom if Bright Meadow died.
I wish.
Seriously, I reckon there are a handful of people who'd miss it if I ever stopped it properly (it's been on a few weeks holiday like me lately - bliss!) I know for one my dad would kick up a fuss (he's taken to ringing me on a Sunday afternoon if I haven't posted a roast to keep him entertained!) and a few others would say the same. But then, like Abi said, they'd find other ways to waste time at work.
Honestly, I think *I'd* miss Bright Meadow most of all! I still blog mostly for myself and these past two weeks have been really odd being unable to connect to the internet. Normally I'm thinking constantly "ooh, I could blog this..." It was nice to take a break, relax, and write other things for a change. But two weeks was long enough - I've realised that the shakes in my hands aren't due to RSI, they're due to blog withdrawal!

Nobody because I don't think anyone reads it anyhow.... that's sad.

Perhaps I really should ask this question on my blog, because right now, I have not a single idea who would miss me ;)

I'm with carmodyarc -- I'd miss my blog if I stopped writing it. In fact, this summer I took a two month break, and man did I miss blogging after a while. It's good to get back to it. Although what keeps me going is that it amuses me and makes me think, I also really like the people who've become regular readers and commenters and I'd miss them if I ever had to stop permanently.
