The Group Face of 9rules
Written by Scrivs on November 27, 2006
Last week I wrote about the public face of 9rules and got a lot of great responses, but none signifies what 9rules is better than what Thomas Silkjaer has done. The true value and the public face of 9rules will always be in the company it keeps and the community it builds.
When you work like that it can be either a horrible thing or a great thing. We like to think we have a good thing going on here and as long as we get done with the Round 5 list before 2008 we should be kosher for a bit longer.

Oh man…I’ll just come back in the new year and see what happened while I was gone. I don’t care what anybody says, I know I’m not the only one sweatin’ whether or not I got in.
The suspense is killer, even more than a month after the submission round.
Damn you Scrivs! Once I think I’m out of 9rules’ grasp, it just pulls me right back in!

The suspense is certainly agony right now. But good things are always worth waiting for. Am I the only one obsessively checking here for updates several times a day? I think this blog is laced with crack.

Familiar faces here! Greetings!
That’s a really nice mosiac’ed logo too, it’d be cool to zoom into it and see it crossfade into a “9Rules City”.
Gotta respect your inspiration!

It’s been a pleasure to watch 9rules evolve. This picture nicely illustrates the growth of the community and that it is made up of individuals.

So, since you are not looking for a certain percentage of sites to add to the network, and you are just looking for quality sites, can’t you start announcing some of the new sites that made it?
I mean there have to be some blogs that you are already sure are going to get in. Or were all 1190 of our sites that bad?
I can see the announcement now…
